Séjour inoubliable pour nos 21 ans de mariage d'une nuit en château. Petit château romantique, superbe chambre authentique avec tout confort, parfait petit déjeuner. Merci à l'accueil du propriétaire, on sent la passion de son château qui nous fait partager avec son histoire et ses projets d'aménagement. Espérons revenir un jour...

Une vraie vie de château • TOUT !!! Le château est superbe, l'aménagement intérieur correspond bien au lieu, le travail effectué est formidable. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié nos conversations avec la propriétaire, il sait transmette sa passion et ses explications sont claires et pertinentes.... Un réel plaisir. Passer une nuit au Châtelet permet de mieux s'imprégner des vieilles pierres, c'est très romantique. Le petit déjeuner est très sympa avec des produits, du terroir.

Eigentlich kann man die Unterkunft gar nicht in Worte fassen, so einzigartig ist sie. Im Schatten des Château gelegen mit großem Garten und Zugang zum Teich (den wir auch zum schwimmen benutzt haben) hatten wir hier eine wunderschöne Zeit. Gregoire ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber der die Gegend sehr gut kennt und uns tolle Tipps gegeben hat. So sind viele interessanten Schlösser und größere Städte der Loire sehr gut zu erreichen. Mit welcher Leidenschaft Gregoire das Château und die Gebäude restauriert hat ist einmalig und die Geschichte dahinter bemerkenswert. Wir hatten die Möglichkeit uns das Château ebenfalls anzusehen. Im Haus hat es an nichts gefehlt, der eingezäunte Garten war perfekt für unseren Hund. Wer einen Urlaub in dieser Region plant sollte unbedingt hier übernachten. Ein einmaliges Erlebnis. Wir kommen bestimmt noch mal wieder.

We spent 2 wonderful nights at Gregoire's charming property. Gregoire was a fantastic host with lots of great local knowledge. The property is beautiful, and in the most stunning setting. We cannot wait to return! We had a peaceful and tranquil stay at the Chatelet. Gregoire met us at the Chatelet and was very helpful showing us around the Chatelet and recommending places to visit. It was a great base to explore the Tours area and to also relax in. The garden was lovely with the amazing view of the chateau and moat. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Gregoire for a memorable stay. Never have we experienced such a passionate host! Gregoire renovated his castle and neighbouring houses beautifully and respectfully. We had a great stay at his comfortable holiday home, one with character but also equipped with most modern amenities. The rural position is nice and quiet, with great possibilities to visit the most beautiful castles and charming villages. The near village of Azay hosts some great opportunities to do your daily shopping and there are plenty of nice restaurants. We strongly recommend staying here!

Awesome place with so much history!!!! Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner who showed us around the property and the castle itself. He told us some of the history about the place which was fascinating and all the work that had been done to restore it. The bedrooms were extraordinary with original details everywhere you looked!

The castle was like a fairy tale. My daughter had a magical 13th birthday. She kept on saying it felt like a fairy tale. We had a very pleasant stay there. We enjoyed the breakfast provided by Gregoire and the tour and history of the place and the restoration process the castle went through. Unfortunately the first day we got there late because of unfortunate circumstances regarding a rental car in Paris but Gregoire was very understanding and accommodating despite the time we got there which was very late at night. He helped us with our luggage inside and quickly showed us around inside so that we could get in bed and enjoy the next day. The castle was more then we expected. The castle is genuine and the kids really enjoyed rowing around the moat in the small boat provided. I will definitly be recommending this beautiful Chatelet and would 100% return to explore the places Gregoire recommended which we didn't have time to see.
